  16. Yes, I too have had only one cold in the three years I've had CFS, and
  17. that one was recent.  I'm hoping it's an indication that I'm getting better
  18. and my immune system is returning to normal again!

  20. I've heard of others, though, who seem to have the opposite problem, with
  21. susceptibility to everything.  I think the Stoff/Pellegrino book discusses
  22. this phenomenon, that both extremes are common with CFSers, depending on the
  23. state of their immune system - either it's cranked up to overdrive or
  24. completely exhausted and unable to cope with any infection.  I personally
  25. have never been in the "completely exhausted" part of the cycle (unless that's
  26. the explanation for my one cold - I'd rather think it's because I'm finally
  27. working my way out of this).
