- Yes, I too have had only one cold in the three years I've had CFS, and
- that one was recent. I'm hoping it's an indication that I'm getting better
- and my immune system is returning to normal again!

- I've heard of others, though, who seem to have the opposite problem, with
- susceptibility to everything. I think the Stoff/Pellegrino book discusses
- this phenomenon, that both extremes are common with CFSers, depending on the
- state of their immune system - either it's cranked up to overdrive or
- completely exhausted and unable to cope with any infection. I personally
- have never been in the "completely exhausted" part of the cycle (unless that's
- the explanation for my one cold - I'd rather think it's because I'm finally
- working my way out of this).
