- Muscle spasms and strange tactile sensations (there's a medical
- term that begings with a "P" : parathesias, I think) are common
- in CFS. That you have them in you face and not your elbow or
- shoulder blade is the only thing that make you different from all
- the rest of us sickos. Only some have facial muscle spasms.
- I myself will get thumb wiggles, but I write and type alot, and
- so my theory is the muscle complains after a while. In the summer
- after a long walk, I sometimes feel like bugs are crawling in
- various places -- no bugs there, just muscle spasms, tiny ones.

- So just accept these bizarre things as part of the syndrome and
- don't worry -- they're not coming from any place else ( p < .001).
