- Just about any floating fly with some action will catch bluegill.
- Small cork poppers are good for a start (cheap, too at K-Mart).
- I've caught bluegill on large bass poppers, even -- disgorging the hook is
- a mess though when a 8" bluegill swallows a 4" fly.
