- Uh I'm from Washington (state of) and I've caught plenty of Steelhead.
- 3 years ago I did some Walleye fishing on Lake Erie. Did quite well.
- Well anyway, while trolling, I managed to catch about 5 STEELHEAD. They
- averaged about 8 pounds. Believe me, I've done plenty of Rainbow
- fishing and fished other assorted trout and I know STEELHEAD when I
- catch one. There is a definate coloration and fin shape difference
- between a STEELHEAD and all other forms of trout.
-
- Mark (on the WEST COAST)
-
- PS STEELHEAD were planted and are stocked in ALL the great lakes.
-
- A STEELHEAD by any other name is still a Steelhead.
