- I can think of lots of reasons. First the more plentiful in certains parts
- of the country that other species. Second, they're not always smaller. An
- 8" bluegill will put up a much better fight than an 8" trout. Third, a
- lot of people claim they taste great. Fourth, they don't have to compete
- with snobs that think the only decent fish is a salmonid.
