  24.     As Russ Anderson pointed out about conservatism, there are
  25. numerous differences of opinion on important issues. It seems like we
  26. have some on ZB also:

  28.     Pro: ZB is better than anyone else Clinton is like to pick.

  30.     Con: ZB is getting away with things she couldn't if she was a
  31. white, male, country-club Republican.

  35.     My own position? She's just too embarrassing, though at least
  36. she shows _some_ contrition. I do agree with Matthew Austern that she
  37. is yet another big-bux lawyer-lobbyist and that Clinton ought to be
  38. doing more to make his Cabinet "look like America" than he has been
  39. doing. Although I don't want him to go so far as to appoint some
  40. semiliterate high-school dropouts.
