  23. I don't know what time Meg in on in New York, but The Greaseman is scheduled 
  24. to be on from 7:00 PM to 11:00(?) PM here in the DC area.  Does anyone know
  25. what time he'll be broadcasting in LA?  That is his home base.  BTW, those
  26. of you who live in New York will tire of him quickly just like we did here
  27. in DC.  The stories CAN be funny, but he uses that annoying voice all the time
  28. which is a HUGE turn-off to the ear.  I'm sure Howard must be sick about this.
  29. Someone mentioned that he stopped ragging on Don & Mike a few months before
  30. they showed up at WJFK.  I remember him raising hell with them just a few
  31. days before they went on the air here in DC.  They had mentioned his name
  32. in one of theit promos.  I hate to turn this into a NON-Howard Stern
  33. newsgroup, but D&M had mentioned that the reason Infinity hired them was
  34. because Howard couldn't BEAT them.  I disagree.  Before D&M started on WJFK
  35. the station was broadcasting a WEAK signal from a tower outside the DC
  36. Beltway in Northern VA.  The station was UNABLE to broadcast to most 
  37. of MD. This made it virtually impossible for the station to get decent DC
  38. ratings.  D&M's first broadcast day from WJFK was the day the station started
  39. running a dual signal from the tower in VA and an AM station located in
  40. Baltimore.  If they had still been at WAVA when this had happened Howard
  41. would have KICKED THIER BUTTS!!!!  'Nuff said!
