- You all won't have to hate the Greaseman, because he's no longer
- Howard's competition.
-
- You will, however, have to learn some new terms to understand
- him. While Howard talks stream of consciousness and loosely
- has a script, Greaseman plays records and tells stories.
-
- So get to know about
-
- Hobblin'
- Gobblin'
- and your hydraulics
-
- Greaseman (Uncle Greasie to his most devoted) uses these alternate
- terms to stay out of as much trouble. Rev . Wildmon probably thinks
- Gobblin has to do with making turkey sounds. I just hope Greaseman doesn't
- change his act (the Greseman, that is), and still talks about his ex-wife
- Estelle, and his daddy back in West Virginia.
- Not that I'll be glued to the radio 4 hours a night.
-
- IN a side note, don't know if Howard has been bad mouthing Imus still,
- as K-Rock and WFAN are both owned by Infinity (but as one article
- pointed out, they're taking their time syndicating Imus).
