  13. The Central Organization of the Finns in Sweden has sent a letter to
  14. prime minister Carl Bildt, where the Finns demand as soon as possible
  15. Swedish governement to undersign The Treaty of Protecting Lingual
  16. Minorities of Council of Europe. Singning The Treaty would guarantee
  17. for the Finnish language a minority language status. The Central Organi-
  18. zation reminds, that there are 320 000 Finnish speaking people living
  19. in Sweden and a half a million Finns immigrated to Sweden during the
  20. latest immigration wave.
