- The important thing to do now, I would think, is not to argue over the
- technicalities of unplugging computers/accessing data/whatever, but to
- take up this matter in an active manner with the powers that be so that we
- won't be forced to download data covertly like this. Berkeley is supposed to
- be a first rate institution, and yet there are a lot of "second rate" schools,
- both public and private, that allow people to access schedule of classes over
- the modem much more easily. I'm sure some even let you sign up for courses
- that way. I hope the university gets wise. Telebears doesn't work, that's
- for sure!
