  38. Don't expect rationality from Suzzie wrt organ donations... She thinks
  39. it is necessary to go into the thoracic cavity to remove a kidney
  40. (thus, according to her, making donating a kidney more dangerous then
  41. receiving one). I mentioned this to a local nephrologist (and head of
  42. our transplant team) who laughed hysterically, and said (paraphrased):
  43. Any surgeon who gets to a kidney through the chest probably does
  44. tonselectomies through the anus.
  45. Suzzie, of course, clings to her belief despite the realities of the
  46. situation.
