  14. I recall hearing on Chicken Noodle News that a bacterium (*Chlostridium*
  15. I suspect, they'll eat virtually anything, including those buried polystyrene
  16. bottles which were supposed to last ten thousand years and instead lasted
  17. five or so...) has been developed to help in some types of oil spills and
  18. was successfully used in a spill near Galveston a few years ago. Anyone
  19. know more about this?

  21. ps. *Chlostridium* are anaerobic soil bacteria, for which we should all be
  22. **very** thankful, I suspect.
