- I am working on a project that requires a numerical solution
- to a second order pde in two space dimensions and one time
- dimension. The pde involves a mixed derivative. A friend
- of mine recommended the use of Hopscotch process for solving
- this pde. As I am not a technical person in Math I am finding
- it hard to follow the algorithm for this process. I would be
- extremely thankful if anyone out there could educate me on how
- this algorithm works. References to text books discussing this
- method would also be very helpful.
