  15. I am working on a project that requires a numerical solution
  16. to a second order pde in two space dimensions and one time
  17. dimension.  The pde involves a mixed derivative.  A friend
  18. of mine recommended the use of Hopscotch process for solving
  19. this pde.  As I am not a technical person in Math I am finding
  20. it hard to follow the algorithm for this process.  I would be
  21. extremely thankful if anyone out there could educate me on how
  22. this algorithm works.  References to text books discussing this
  23. method would also be very helpful.
