  14.     I am looking for a good first text on logic for a one semester (15  
  15. week) independent study.  As I have not found any FAQ for this group, so I  
  16. was wondering if someone could make any recommendations.  It might be  
  17. important to mention that It should be adequate to serve as a grounding  
  18. for further mathematical and philosophical study into logic.
