- No it's not a typo. Carter has produced quite a few quadra jets. I'm
- surprised you haven't come accross this before if you are very familar
- with them as you say. As far as parts they are interchangable (or
- they are supposed to be. I've never had any problems as long as
- the parts are all form the same CFM carb. It's been a while but
- I think Rochester was the sole manufacturer of the larger 1150 CFM carb.

- Aluminum Oxide. The curse of Quadrajets. I never have found out
- what alloy was used in these things but it really sucks for carbs.
- I had one that was so bad that the needle seat would not screw into the
- metal,.. or a white oxide rather.
