- Last year I've seen a HUMMER (hmve or similar) belonging to some american troops
- in Germany.
- This type of vehicle really turns me on and I tried to get some info on it.
- I've found out that it has an air-cooled diesel engine.
-
- Besides this stationnary (generators, compressors e.t.c.) russian diesel
- engines do have a great reputation for durability according to some
- friends who used to work at minning sites.
- The same people say that lightweight russian dieselos have a very poor
- power/weight ratios, i.e. not suitable for light car or truck applications.
