- Probably not, my 260Z went for several years with a bad EGR valve, ( they only
- test CO and HC here ). The car ran fine.

- Mostly NOx, but the mixture will be richer without the exhaust gas.

- Probably not, you'd notice major power loss, even with the EGR unplugged.

- Yes, or a vacuum leak. Also make sure all the controls, electrical and vacuum
- are connected correctly and functional. My Z had a bad relay so it got EGR
- while cold which caused symptoms similar to yours.
