  32.    I had the same problem with my Jeep ('85 CJ8 Scrambler, same engine and
  33. carb as yours).  It got so bad that I had to put a 100 watt troublelight
  34. under the hood next to the carb -- that was the only way it would start in
  35. the morning!  It turned out that the accelerator pump in the carb was shot.
  36. After I rebuilt the carb, the problem went away -- the Jeep starts even when
  37. the temp drops down into the minus farenheit range.  Hope this helps.
