  10. Does anyone know why my '78 Buick LeSabre pings when I rev the
  11. engine in Park, but does not ping in the same situation if I
  12. disconnect the violet striped EFE vaccum hose from the EFE valve
  13. pipe?  (301 2-bbl, engine code Y)

  15. Performace doesn't seem to suffer with this hose disconnected, but
  16. It just seems a little odd that the pinging goes away.  Should I
  17. just leave it disconnected?
