  11. Does anyone have any information regarding COMMON LAW in Pennsylvania?

  13. If a child is involved and the couple never had the intention of getting 
  14. married, what are the rights of the father?

  16. Actually, the situation that I am referring to, the couple never planned 
  17. marriage or considered common law, but had a child.  And the father never 
  18. wanted the child in the first place, but rather strongly indicated that the 
  19. female get an abortion, which obviously she did not.  He made life rather 
  20. complicated during her pregnancy and at one point she moved out, but returned 
  21. for the birth of a daughter.  Now he is fighting for custody.  The story gets 
  22. complicated in the fact that there are a number of reasons why the mother 
  23. does not want the child to be seen by the father:  verbal attack on the 
  24. mother and her family and drugs in the environment.

  26. Does anyone have any advise on this subject?  What ARE the father's rights?
