  14. Hi netters,
  15. I have soon to install a HP 7475A as plotter for a Dec 5000/240
  16. (Ultrix 4.3) DecServer250 combination on a serial interface. 
  17.  
  18. Because I am only used to HP workstations, I have no exact idea what
  19. to put in the /etc/printcap entry, especially in the filter fields
  20. (the 240 only provides entrys for Dec printers in usr/lib/lpdfilters).  
  21.  
  22. I looked up the sample printcap entries at gatekeeper.dec.com, as
  23. proposed in the ultrix-FAQ, but there are only two entries, both
  24. regarding HP LaserJets.
  25.  
  26. Two other questions are: What handshake protocal should I use (if any)
  27. and how many stoppbits does the DecServer250 use (this seems to be
  28. important for the baud rate of the plotter).
  29.  
  30. Could anybody out there share his printcap entry or any other
  31. experiences he has made with this combination?
  32.  
  33. Any help would be greatly appreciated; e-mail preferred.
