  14. Hi netters,
  15. I have soon to install a Nec P5 XL as printer for a Dec 5000/240
  16. (Ultrix 4.3) DecServer250 combination on the parallel interface. 
  17.  
  18. Because I am only used to HP workstations, I have no exact idea what
  19. to put in the /etc/printcap entry, especially in the filter fields
  20. (the 240 only provides entrys for Dec printers in
  21. /usr/lib/lpdfilters). I looked up the sample printcap entries at
  22. gatekeeper.dec.com, as proposed in the ultrix-FAQ, but there are only
  23. two entries, both regarding HP LaserJets.

  25. Could anybody out there share his printcap entry or any other
  26. experiences he has made with this combination?

  28. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
