- I don't have Consensys, (I run microport 4.1,) but the following
- should work:
-
- I believe the values you need to change are the third column of
- the /etc/conf/sdevice.d/ptm and /etc/conf/sdevice.d/pts files.
- You would also need to change the /etc/conf/node.d/pts file
- to tell idmknod of the new major/minor pairs. Follow the
- convention of existing entries in the file. You then rebuild
- the kernel using /etc/conf/bin/idbuild. You should shutdown
- and reboot (I believe idmknod is called upon re-enterring
- init state 2.)
-
- I've actually never tried the above myself, since during the
- installation I configured my kernel with 256 entrypoints. If
- all fails, reinstalling the proper package (nsu for microport)
- interactively might do the job.
-
- Good luck,
-
- -Ade.
