- Greetings Novellers!
-
- I am having a problem with a Novell server running NFS which is mounted
- to a UNIX machine (HP 9K/827). The problem is this:
- -user home directories are placed on the NFS machine.
- -casual usage (nothing heavy) works fine.
- -Heavy disk usage causes early file termination problems - ie/ a report
- being generated gets cut off midway.
- -The NFS server has an error message something to the effect of:
- Can't write file to cache (some other stuff after...)
- -I doubled the buffer sizes and the problem still occurred.
- -As a result I have had to move my users back onto a very crowded file
- system :-(.
-
- Anyone got any ideas or similar experiences?
