  12. I am having a problem with a Novell server running NFS which is mounted
  13. to a UNIX machine (HP 9K/827).  The problem is this:
  14. -user home directories are placed on the NFS machine.
  15. -casual usage (nothing heavy) works fine.
  16. -Heavy disk usage causes early file termination problems - ie/ a report
  17.      being generated gets cut off midway.
  18. -The NFS server has an error message something to the effect of:
  19.     Can't write file to cache  (some other stuff after...)
  20. -I doubled the buffer sizes and the problem still occurred.
  21. -As a result I have had to move my users back onto a very crowded file
  22. system  :-(.
