  10. Today I opened my Sharing Setup control panel and noticed that the Owner
  11. Name was set to "0". No big deal, I thought, somebody probably did that
  12. by accident -- other people use my mac on occasion.
  13.  
  14. But, when I tried to re-enter my Owner Name, I got a dialog saying,
  15. "Numbers only, please!"  Weird. I've been using system 7 since it came
  16. out and *that* never happened before.
  17.  
  18. If any new software was installed on the machine, it was done without
  19. my permission, and I do not see any extensions or control panels I do
  20. not recognize.

  22. So, can anybody tell me where this strange message might be coming
  23. from?
