- Today I opened my Sharing Setup control panel and noticed that the Owner
- Name was set to "0". No big deal, I thought, somebody probably did that
- by accident -- other people use my mac on occasion.
-
- But, when I tried to re-enter my Owner Name, I got a dialog saying,
- "Numbers only, please!" Weird. I've been using system 7 since it came
- out and *that* never happened before.
-
- If any new software was installed on the machine, it was done without
- my permission, and I do not see any extensions or control panels I do
- not recognize.
-
- So, can anybody tell me where this strange message might be coming
- from?
-
- Thanks,
- Stu Castergine
