  13. Recently I started having severe printing problems that result in a
  14. message from Print Monitor that says:

  16.   PrintMonitor found an internal problem
  17.   Where =80,
  18.   Why = -50
  19.  
  20. And then asks to cancel the request, but I usually can't because
  21. you get back into this above dialog.

  23. What does this message mean?

  25. I'm running 7.0.1 on a Quadra 700 with "too many extensions"; but they
  26. are the same ones I've had for quite a while.

  28. The printer is a TI Turbo XL connected via AppleTalk to my Mac and also
  29. to many other machines including a GatorBos gateway to the ethernet.
  30. I get the problem if I reconfigure Networks to use Ethertalk instead of
  31. Appletalk for printing.

  33. I have reinstalled LaserWriter and PrintMonitor but the problem is
  34. still there. I have no problem printing with background printing turned
  35. off so it clearly is an interaction with PrintMonitor and something.
