  30. My understanding (based on use and what I've read here) is as follows:
  31.    - The #1 DITL item in an alert box will be highlighted automatically
  32.      (may be dependent on using NoteAlert, StopAlert, etc)
  33.    - Dialogs will not have a default item highlighted automatically.
  34.      You (the programmer) have to handle this yourself.

  36. This behavior resides in the toolbox (Dialog Manager) and is not dependent
  37. on the development environment (Think, MPW).

  39. Corrections expected (and requested) if any of the above is erroneous.
