- I am considering the purchase of a FAX modem. I have a Mac II, which
- has a 2400 baud vanilla modem attached, and a Powerbook 100, which has
- no modem at all, so I'm thinking of buying a modem for the Powerbook.
-
- My requirements are: FAX send and receive; the ability to wake up
- the Powerbook to receive an incoming FAX; portability (if not
- internal); low cost (< $200 if possible); single-line phone/FAX switch,
- if possible.
-
- Can anyone recommend a suitable modem? Can anyone tell me whether
- the Zoom FaxModem PKT shown on p. 50 of the lates MacWarehouse
- catalog will meet the above criteria?
