  12.     I'm looking for a good color handscanner under $400.  If one doesn't
  13. exist then I won't bother getting one yet.
  14.     Anyway, I saw a listing of scanners in the Computer Shopper that listed
  15. 2 small scanners by "The Complete PC" for about $200.  It claims that they
  16. both can handle lineart, half tones, continuous tones, color and photos.

  18. What I would like to know is:
  19.     Do these scanners actually scan color or is it some special software
  20.         that tries to interpret color from gray scale?
  21.     Do the scanners use a red or yellow/green led for the scanning light?
  22.     What is the size of the scanner?
  23.     What software is packaged with the scanner?
  24.     Anything else of interest about these scanners.
