  12. Can someone tell me if IDE drives need anything special in the way of
  13. disk diagnostic software?  I have an old version of the Norton Utilities
  14. DT program which dates from the days before IDE drives were popular.  Will
  15. it work with my Maxtor 7213A IDE drive?  Can I get into trouble by using it
  16. to mark any bad clusters which it finds?  If I need software which is
  17. specific to IDE drives, can you suggest some shareware or PD programs?
