  13. I have been fooling around with a new motherboard
  14. and some disks and get the following message when
  15. I try to boot a 340mb IDE drive
  16.  
  17. NO ROM BASIC
  18. SYSTEM HALTED
  19.  
  20. I was previously able to put a DOS 5.0 system
  21. on this disk and boot it, but now the same disk
  22. gives this error on two different motherboards
  23. but a 137mb disk boots fine on both systems.
  24.  
  25. What does it mean and what do I do to fix it.?
  26.  
  27. Also, does anyone know about a program that you
  28. can software boot another disk from. eg. boot
  29. a floppy and then have it boot a hard drive?
