We'll these drives are still fairly new. The disks that you need to use in the drive is the ED(Extended Densisty) disks. I've only seen them once at CompUSA for an outragous $70.00 for 10 disks. Personally I see no reason to get a 2.88 drive until the price of disks drop. Also supposidly the 1.44 and 720k disks will work in the drives.
