  12. OK folks, since there's been almost as much bitching about the bitching
  13. as there has been about anything else, I'd like to suggest a minor
  14. modification to our posting behavior that I think will save us all
  15. some grief.  (This will probably seem like an insane fit of
  16. reasonableness on my part to some of you.)

  18. I propose that from now on any message in this group that's 
  19. predominantly about the virtues or flaws of a personal computer (Atari
  20. or otherwise), or about a personal computer company, should have
  21. the word "ADVOCACY" in the the title.  That way people who don't want
  22. to read such posts can kill them, and people who do won't be bothered
  23. by all the annoying bitching about the bitching.  :)

  25. NOTE: This will only work if you do it.  (This means you too, BobR!)  :)
  26. Take care to remove the ADVOCACY keyword from "normal" followups, too,
  27. since some people will immediately kill everything that has even
  28. the SMELL of advocacy in it.  :)

  30. Creating an advocacy group will take at least 6 months.  While I think
  31. it would be a good idea to have one, I'm not about to volunteer to run
  32. the vote.  Could some kind victim ... I mean, volunteer get the courage
  33. up to do it?
