- OK folks, since there's been almost as much bitching about the bitching
- as there has been about anything else, I'd like to suggest a minor
- modification to our posting behavior that I think will save us all
- some grief. (This will probably seem like an insane fit of
- reasonableness on my part to some of you.)
-
- I propose that from now on any message in this group that's
- predominantly about the virtues or flaws of a personal computer (Atari
- or otherwise), or about a personal computer company, should have
- the word "ADVOCACY" in the the title. That way people who don't want
- to read such posts can kill them, and people who do won't be bothered
- by all the annoying bitching about the bitching. :)
-
- NOTE: This will only work if you do it. (This means you too, BobR!) :)
- Take care to remove the ADVOCACY keyword from "normal" followups, too,
- since some people will immediately kill everything that has even
- the SMELL of advocacy in it. :)
-
- Creating an advocacy group will take at least 6 months. While I think
- it would be a good idea to have one, I'm not about to volunteer to run
- the vote. Could some kind victim ... I mean, volunteer get the courage
- up to do it?
