  13. I'v been FTPing a lot these days, and have come across all the archived files
  14. like ARC, ZOO, LZH, etc and have some problems.

  16. Is it possible to extract files from an archive onto another disk?
  17. Most of the stuff I try to unarchive tends to be 600000+ bytes in length, and
  18. therefore obviously wont dearc onto the same disk!
  19. Is there something special I have to do?  Is there a particular dearc that'll
  20. do the job?   Preferably a .PRG file, as I hate .TTPs!

  22. Ah.  The other problem!  MSA files. I have 2 un-msa-ers:MSA.PRG and shadow.prg.
  23. What basically happens when I use it, is that at somepoint in the apalling
  24. process of swapping disks constantly, the drive suddenly starts to make noise
  25. more louder than I've ever heard, and it'll suddenly cough up an error and
  26. accuse the msa file of being corrupted or something.  I have FTPd loads of MSA
  27. files and none of them work.  It's really annoying as there are a lot of demos
  28. out there that I really want to get like Overdose, erotica, etc....
