  10.    I would like to gather any short (ie. less than 10 lines) STOS basic
  11. routines which create special effects- visual or audio. You know, those
  12. quirky little lines of code which you knock together, and then can find
  13. absolutely no use for.

  15.    The routines are needed for my very last ST game, as I intend to get
  16. myself a Falcon ASAP. After a long and somewhat distorted discussion with
  17. two game magazine reviewer friends at The Raven Inn, Bridgnorth (where
  18. girls are real girls and boys are real girls, too), we came up with the
  19. concept for the WORST game EVER...
  20.  
  21.    PRO INTERNATIONAL WHELK SIMULATOR 2000 PLUS ("SimWhelk" for short)
  22.  
  23.    In order to compensate for the inevitably limited nature of the actual
  24. gameplay (aim of the game: not to fall off the rock), much of the program
  25. will be given over to a demo.
  26.  
  27.    This game will be released either through Budgie UK licenceware or as
  28. Public Domain sometime before autumn, and will be written in STOS.

  30.    Contributions on this forum or direct by email please (preferably
  31. both!). Cheers in advance for anyone who contributes; you will get a heavy
  32. mention in the scroller!
