  15. I hope comp.software-eng is the right newsgroup for my question. I am looking
  16. for a specific article dealing with CASE (computer aided software engineering)
  17. that I read quite recently (at least I think so. It may have been within the
  18. last 18 month, though). The article dealt with the claims to increased 
  19. productivity made by CASE tool vendors. The author/authors had asked quiet
  20. a few (big) companies what CASE tools they use and how productivity has 
  21. increased after they started to use the tools. It turned out that overall,
  22. there had not been much improvement in productivity. The article featured
  23. some nice bar graphs that illustrated use of CASE tools and improvements
  24. in productivity at different companies. The article was printed in an
  25. English language magazine/journal and I am sure it wasn't some obscure
  26. publication. However, I hadn't kept a reference at the time I read it, and
  27. now I can't find the article. A three-hour search in the library turned out
  28. to be unsuccesful. So now I am kind of desperate and turning to the net for
  29. help. Maybe someone else dealing with CASE frequently can remember that
  30. article and can send me the reference? Your help is truly appreciated!
