  17. I agree whole heartedly with Fred.  I'm very new to robotics.  In fact, I haven't
  18. really started yet.  I've been technically intertested for many years but felt 
  19. the experimental kits were either too expensive or too mucha toy.  I'm hoping
  20. my purchase of the miniboard kit will get me started with a real project.

  22. I wouldn't know about it at all if it wasn't for the "noise" on the net.

  24. There seems to be very little real robot-industry info sharing going on 
  25. here. So it makes good sense to use some of this bandwidth for promoting
  26. and encouraging the hobby/industry.

  30. And don't be so hard on people who are trying to do you a favor.  The one thing 
  31. that bothers me most about Usenet is how people take advantage of "freedom of 
  32. speech" and seem so eager to flame with the slightest provocation.  It's OK
  33. to bitch when, but don't be destructive.
