- Hello,
- Now that J.P has releases 32bit version of 4os2, I have decided to give it
- a try. But new version requires 16bit version to be present on the system.
- At 128.123.35.151 (aka hobes), in pub/os2/all/shells, there are about 5,6
- files dealing with 4os2 and 4dos stuff. File names are confusing and I
- dont know which ones to get. For example there are two files for 4os2--
- 4os210.zoo and 4os210.zip.rev-d. Now which ones of these to get? or both
- should be downloaded. I have a slow modem so I can't afford expensive exper-
- iments. Then there is file called 4os2updd.zip. What is it. If we suppose
- that "rev-d" in 4os210.zip.rev-d indicates 'revised', then if have this
- rev-d'd file, do I sitll need to down load 4os2updd.zip?
- Same questions about 4dos...
-
- Thanks for your help and time,

- B.T.W. I have 4dos401 for dos that I obtained from a dos archive site. Can
- I simply use it under os2 or 4dos written for os2 is different. If I
- can use mine existing 4dos, do I still need to apply a patch posted at
- hobes?
