- I'm not often in the position of following up on my own articles, but I've
- mentioned this once or twice, so...

- It turns out we released the XGA 2.02 Device Driver disk today. Looking
- in the appendix in the back, I see the 1360x1024 mode I mentioned (although
- the 9517 isn't listed as supporting it). That makes the list of officially
- supported resolutions for XGA-2 something like:
-
- 1) 640x480 at 60, 72, and 75 Hz NI, with up to 64k colors.
- 2) 800x600 at 56, 60, 72, and 75 Hz NI, with up to 64k colors.
- 3) 1024x768 at 60, 70, 72, and 75 Hz NI or 43.5 Hz I, with up to 256 colors.
- 4) 1280x960, 1280x1024, and 1360x1024 at 45 Hz I, with up to 16 colors.
-
- NI = Non-Interlaced. I = Interlaced. The frequencies are the frame rate.
- All modes work under both OS/2 and Windows 3.1.
-
- I'm told the device driver disk will be released on CompuServe soon, so you
- can get it there if you have an XGA, or talk to your IBM service rep.
