  12. I have my hard drives set up:
  13. 212 WD IDE-DRIVE 0:
  14. 170 meg FAT: dumbOS 5 and windoze
  15. 40 meg HPFS: OS/2 2.0+SP
  16. 1 meg boot manager

  18. 500 FUJITSU IDE-DRIVE 1:
  19. 450 meg HPFS: no system; just data/programs
  20. 50 meg HPFS: OS/2 beta with win-os2 3.1+32 bit GRE (the one from this Fall)

  22. Question:  I know I must "reformat" to install the new 2.1 beta.  Is
  23. formatting and installing the beta on the 50 meg HPFS on DRIVE 1 
  24. sufficient to make the beta work (ie blow away the "expired" beta),
  25. or do I have to reformat EVERYTHING? (if it is everything, IBM can keep
  26. the beta.  There is no way I'm going to be able to get about 550 megs
  27. onto floppies.....
