- There is one other thing that you should do. It is probably is some
- readme file or something, I picked it up around here. After installing
- and rebooting (it can be anytime later, doesn't have to be immediately),
- Open the OS/2 folder and the System Setup folder in that. Open (run)
- Selective Install. In the first screen make sure that SVGA is the type
- of your primary display (if not, check Primary Display box and click OK,
- a box will pop-up which allows you to select basic card type (SVGA in your
- case)). If so, just click OK. Then the list of things to install will
- appear with nothing check. That's fine, click Install. It will now go
- through certain parts of the install (re-install display fonts I believe)
- and after some time it will either install the appropriate display driver
- for WPS or, as is more likely, offer you a selection of resolutions and
- colors. Choose the resolution and colors you want (and your board supports)
- and OK that box. It will finish up installing. When done there will be
- a box that tells you it is done and that you must shut down and reboot
- to have the changes take affect. Clear that box, shut down, reboot and you
- should see the selected resolution. Actually it is pretty simple but
- incredibly non-obvious.
