  63. I had the same problem with a Chips & Technologies (Olivetti) 
  64. VGA board. It turned out I used a Windows 3.0 driver instead 
  65. of the 3.1. Strange thing: the fonts that I had selected as 
  66. defaults were still being used, just the menu option 
  67. disappeared. Try selecting the standard VGA driver that came 
  68. with 3.1 to see if the problem disappears.
