  20. I have just another solution for your problem. Install Powerpoint on another
  21. machine, that runs DOS & Win 3.1, then ZIP the installation on an multivolume
  22. ZIP-Archive with the brandnew PKZIP 2.04c to several diskettes and unZIP
  23. it on your NT machine.

  25. I am using Powerpoint 3.0 from a network drive, that was once installed
  26. under WIN 3.1. I had no problems using it so far. After the first
  27. execution of Powerpoint, it even creates the correct entries in the
  28. registry to use OLE, which other products like Winword don't.
