  15. Hello all, I'm using a GSM compressor to try to compress some voice
  16. data digitally recorded at a studio. The uncompressed voice sounds
  17. quite good, however once it's compressed there is an annoying warble
  18. in the voice.

  20. Does anyone have any ideas how I could "fix" this? Any pre-filters? I
  21. suspect this is the same warbling experienced by some RELP coders, as
  22. GSM employs LPC followed by long-term-prediction and residue encoding.
