  11. I believe the rom command that you are looking for is:

  15. I dont think that this will work with the 4.2 rom.  Try issuing
  16. that command and then type ATI4.  If the command worked, the 
  17. USR Sportster modem should report that is has become a 16.8 
  18. DS HST modem.  Let us all know what happens.
