  18. 1.  We handle vehicle registrations for faculty, staff & students through
  19. the mail as well as across the counter sales.  During peak periods, we
  20. sell decals at multiple locations.

  22. 2.  Our abbreviated fee structure is as follows:
  23.     Annual Vehicle Decal........................ $50.00
  24.     Semester Vehicle Decal...................... $26.00
  25.     Remote Vehicle Decal........................ $10.00
  26.     Annual Motorcycle Decal..................... $11.00

  30. 3.  The registrant completes a scantron sheet which we use for our data
  31. entry into our computer system.  Our system is a PC-based, networked,
  32. stand-alone system.  All parking-related application software is written
  33. in-house by our MIS Section.

  35. 4.  Traffic citations are written on a hand-held computerized ticket writing
  36. system.  It is an Epson system with touch screen data entry.  At the end of
  37. a shift the enforcement personnel place the machine in a comm cradle which
  38. serves the dual purpose of recharging the battery as well as uploading the
  39. citations written into the PC-host system.  Each machine uploads its data
  40. and then a PC-host batch processes all the information prior to downloading
  41. the latest information (tow list etc.) into the hand held.  The next day,
  42. the enforcement personnel have a machine that is fully charged and it contains
  43. the latest information.  Parking citations range from $10.00 thru $100.00.
