- The medical establishment does not recommend that women get below 10%. The
- reason for this is that women *do* put a percentage of their fat near the
- surface. If there is no surface fat then there is *not* enough around the
- organs and muscles. I virtually stop menstruating at 6% as well eventhough
- I certainly still have "excess" fat on my rear.
