  11. To what extent do the people who know better pick up for the fools who
  12. know better and choose not to act like they know better?

  14. I was at a
  15. crossing gate while a full train from Chicago rolled in to dump off its
  16. load of exec. types. While the trains patrons where all just about off 
  17. and people were clearing the area, i notice this 20 something girl starting
  18. to crawl under the train to get to the other side. Apparently she was on the
  19. wrong side when the train pulled up and instead of "missing" her ride
  20. she decided to make a move.  Oooh I might mention that while she was
  21. traversing (with many packages in hand) under the car she bumped her head
  22. on some commuter car plumbing which stalled her attempt to get out from
  23. under the car.  ALL this just as the train was getting ready to move again!
  24. I sat there in my parked car in amazement! I couldn't believe that I was
  25. perhaps watching the single most stupid person on the face of the earth!

  27. People around here are always cutting behind a train or jumping the gates
  28. just 'cause they are too impatient to wait.  
  29.  
  30. Getting smacked by a train because the gates failed to come down and 
  31. getting smacked by a train because I decided to go around the gates are
  32. too completly different scenerios which have a corresponding level of
  33. "common sense" and personal responsiability.
