  14.   Maybe you could look into some of the livestock guardian breeds like
  15. the Komondor or the Anatolian Shepard.  This type of dog has a thick
  16. coat, does well in cold weather, functions well with a minimum of
  17. supervision and has a territorial, protective nature.
  18.   Other choices to look into are the Black mouth Cur, Louisianna
  19. Catahoula, or an Akbash dog.
