- Overhead it is probably fine, but my lab broke this 1000 pound aircraft
- cable, when used on the ground. My guess is that the plastic coating and
- stranded wire inside cracked and frayed from kinking and friction against
- a cement edge. Sure surprised me, and I never noticed any fraying.
- I think the tensile strength just applies to pulling strength, and can
- be misleading when you consider other forces such as curling and friction.
